Back in the days of ‘oil skins’ and fishing off the Grand Banks where weather was enemy more than friend, this style garment was a survival essential. However, the heavy, oil treated cotton canvas has given way to lightweight, waterproof nylon as found in this jacket – but without the weight.

• Permanently affixed hood
• A 3-inch high, soft standup collar with a 3-button neck closure to keep the wind out when needed
• A full length placket zipper with a wind cover and a quick snap closure to keep the wind out
• An external breast pocket for easy access to your cell phone with a waterproof zipper closure
• Two large side pockets for plenty of storage
• An adjustable waistline drawstring
• Double snap closure for easy cuff adjustment
