To create a subtle, weathered look, this Pusser’s® garment has been dyed with pigments that are intended to fade with age. Therefore, it will purposely fade slightly with each wash. Before wearing the first time, please wash separately as some color may transfer to other surfaces or light colored garments before the first wash.
We’ve been producing this same shirt for 30 years. A long sleeve shirt for the tropics, and one that is pleasingly cool. Cut for a relaxed fit from 100% Madras Indian cotton voile. This fabric is perfect for hot, humid conditions, and known for its ability to absorb moisture readily and dry quickly. It has been pigment dyed and enzyme washed to give it that rugged, broken-in look that comes only from pigment dying. A sleeve loop makes it easy to roll up the sleeves and hold in place. A button-down collar that looks good when a tie may be necessary, two pleated breast pockets with flaps, one with the embroidered 4-flag Pusser’s logo to “Splice the Main Brace”. The left chest pocket also has a built-in slot on the top of the pocket for holding sunglasses or a pen. Also classic epaulets, a 2-button adjustable cuff, and lower cut armholes with the back’s box pleat facilitates extra free movement, while enhancing air circulation. One of the coolest shirts you’ll ever wear – tucked in – or out.
